Yoga Nidra
A therapeutic practice for rest in a sleepless landscape
75 min with Jite
In a landscape where the sun hardly sets and fiery energies linger, deep rest can feel elusive. This practice is an invitation to step back from the overstimulation of light and activity—to give the body and nervous system space to settle and gently rebuild what constant wakefulness can deplete.
Nidra, meaning ‘to escape within,’ in Sanskrit, is a therapeutic form of conscious sleeping. It guides us through layers of presence and relaxation—physical, energetic, and mental—offering respite from emotional and physiological stress. By drawing awareness inward, the practice opens the door to subtle states of healing, restoration, and quiet clarity.
To support this process, a warm cup of ashwagandha will be offered—a traditional adaptogen known to regulate cortisol, support the endocrine system, and ease the body into a state of calm receptivity.
